James Harrison 

Co-Founder, President, Director

James W. Harrison is a 33-year veteran of the United States Air Force and United States Air Force Reserves. He retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. Mr. Harrison also retired from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol as a State Trooper of 31 years. He received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Professional Law Enforcement from Oklahoma City University.

Mr. Harrison has prior experience in working in a mental health facility specializing in schizophrenia, paranoia, and bipolar disorders.  Mr. Harrison and his wife Joyce are dedicated to the organization as a personal commitment to their son who serviced in the Iraqi and Afghanistan War.

Leo C. Bray

Vice President, Director

Leo C. Bray Sr. is a 33-year veteran of the United States Army and United States Army Reserves. He is a retiree of 21 years of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol where he was promoted from Trooper to Lieutenant.

Mr. Bray is a recipient of numerous awards such as the God First Legacy of Leadership Award from the 12th Episcopal church and was awarded the Bronze Star for Leadership and Courage. Mr. Bray is truly a man after God’s own heart who truly is passionate about God, family, friends, and his country. Mr. Bray has been married for 25 years to the love of his life, Talitha.

Francine Swift

Co-Founder, CEO, Director

Dr. Francine Swift enlisted in the U.S. Reserves in 1976. In 1980 she was commissioned a second lieutenant with the Military Police Corp after graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma. Following Officers Basic Training, she commanded a Military Police Company and completed a tour of duty in Central America for Project Strong Roads in 1989. After early retirement from the U.S. Army, her passion in the social behavioral health field was vey powerful and appealing with nonprofit organizations. Francine received her master’s degree from the University of Houston and holds a doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. She has two sons who are both veterans of the armed forces.

Cynthia Williams-Mayes

Cynthia Williams-Mayes is an accomplished Executive Administrative Strategist with more than 20 years of experience partnering with senior leaders across technology, finance, and government sectors. Throughout her career, she has specialized in executive operations, board governance, and organizational management, earning a reputation for discretion, adaptability, and building trusted relationships at the highest levels.

Cynthia brings deep expertise in coordinating strategic initiatives, managing complex priorities, and enhancing leadership effectiveness within fast-paced, confidential environments. Her background includes extensive collaboration with executive teams and boards of directors, where she has strengthened governance processes, streamlined communication, and empowered leaders to focus on achieving meaningful impact.

Cynthia is honored to join the Board of Directors and looks forward to contributing her experience in operational excellence and collaborative leadership to advance the organization’s mission and strategic goals.

Sharon Russell

Secretary

 “After years of serving their country, military veterans may not know where to turn for the next chapter in their lives.” As a mother and activist for veterans with disabilities, Sharon Russell has been working with veterans to ensure they are informed of their much-needed and deserved benefits.

Sharon Russell’s daughter served in both the Afghanistan and Iraqi wars. After her daughter returned from war, Sharon believed it was her duty to search for information about her daughter’s military benefits to help her daughter receive the necessary care and support she needed to function in society as a respected citizen.

Sharon serves as secretary for the CTC Wounded But Not Broken Board of Directors. She acquired a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business and Management, and her Certification as a Teacher in Special Education. She is dedicated to educating individuals (students and adults) who face physical, mental, and emotional trials, and she believes that all veterans not only deserve, they are entitled to their benefits.

Monique Harrison

Director

Monique is a daring educator and has served students and families for over 30 years, in Oklahoma, California, and Washington State. Monique has a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics Education from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and is currently a doctoral candidate at American College of Education. 

Monique is the proud daughter, sister, niece, and cousin of military veterans. She is committed to ensuring veterans experiencing health challenges receive the help they need to live healthy productive lives. 

Jeremiah J. Swift

Director

Jeremiah J. Swift is a native of Muskogee, OK. He attended Muskogee Public Schools. Receiving his High School Diploma from Muskogee High School in 1975. 

Jeremiah enlisted in the United States Marines. While in the Marines, Jeremiah studied and taught Verbal and Electronic Communications, Air Traffic Control Operations and Air Control Radar Operations. Jeremiah also studied Information Technology at the University of Phoenix. 

​He and his wife Letha, also a Muskogee native, retired and decided to leave California and come back home.  A home owner and resident for 34 years in Garden Grove California.

“Through my own experience of needs after serving our Country, providing assistance in technology products that are designed to provide additional accessibility and information to Veterans who have physical or cognitive difficulties, impairments, and disabilities is much needed.”
