Dr. Francine Swift & Sharon Russell

Dr. Francine Swift enlisted in the U.S. Reserves in 1976. In 1980 she was commissioned a second lieutenant with the Military Police Corp after graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma. Following Officers Basic Training, she commanded a Military Police Company and completed a tour of duty in Central America for Project Strong Roads in 1989. After early retirement from the U.S. Army, her passion in the social behavioral health field was vey powerful and appealing with nonprofit organizations. Francine received her master’s degree from the University of Houston and holds a doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. She has two sons who are both veterans of the armed forces.

Sharon Russell’s daughter served in both the Afghanistan and Iraqi wars. After her daughter returned from war, Sharon believed it was her duty to search for information about her daughter’s military benefits to help her daughter receive the necessary care and support she needed to function in society as a respected citizen.

Sharon Russell serves as secretary for the CTC Wounded But Not Broken Board of Directors. Sharon acquired a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business and Management, and her certification in Special Education as a Teacher.  Sharon is dedicated to educating individuals (students and adults) who face physical, mental, and emotional trials, and she believes that all veterans not only deserve, they are entitled to their benefits.
